A nice hotel in the very centre of the city of Ludza. So, the location can be considered as superb. Moreover, there was a beautiful view of a church from a hotel window which was very close to the hotel. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, ready to help at every moment. There is a very good restaurant at the hotel. In fact, it is the only restaurant in the city, but the quality of meals and service is good. The breakfast was very nourishing and tasty with variety of different dishes you can order while visiting. A parking is available in front of the hotel. There are ruins of the medieval castle not far from the hotel and two beautiful lakes. By the way, Ludza is the oldest city of Latvia.

Well equipped clean and spacious property with a friendly and caring host. Lake was near by where to swim and use boats. Firewood was available for an evening sit-down by a live fire. Sky night was so dark and light-pollution free, I was able to see and take pictures of Milky Way
