Great hostel with an authentic atmosphere makes for a great value for money. Beautiful little village, ample parking. We were the only ones in our room so it was comfy, however I can imagine it could get cozy should other people share the room with us. Saying that, the owner was the absolute highlight, he cooked us great food for a good price. The night was quiet so we got plenty of sleep. We'd stay again and would recommend. Just be aware that it's not the cleanest of the places, it's a hostel in the middle of nowhere after all ...

delicious food cooked by Hassan's mum | simple but clean room | comfortable dining room and terrace where you can chat with the other guests | stunning view on the mountains | location in a tiny fascinating village adjacent to Imlil (10 min on foot). Hassan knows the surroundings perfectly well and gave us many useful hints for getting around (on request, never pushy).

Mohamed is a great host. We walked from Imlil to be greeted by him outside his cafe at the edge of the village. He gave us tea and made a delicious tagine before we headed to the property. The property was very clean with a nice warm shower. Mohammed was a great host and would sit and laugh with us for hours. We decided to stay a second night as we enjoyed his company and the property so much. He cooked a great breakfast and gave us some snacks for our day of walking. On the second night he took us down into another village in the valley that you probably wouldn’t visit to have tea with his friend. Beautiful location just above Imlil. Very clean and comfortable rooms with amazing views all around. I showed up early and they served me a tea on the terrace while they got my room ready. Much appreciated the early check in and the food was also 👌
