We had a really nice time in Chital lodge. Bishnu is the best guide! It is wonderful to see how passionate he is. We saw a lot of rhino's, birds, deer etc. Also the food was amazing! The best Nepali food we had during our travels.

A warm and humorous place close to nature. Here, Hari can take you to do yoga, take you on daily jungle adventures, and cook for you, hahaha 😌. His family is also lovely and will take care of everything for you. The jungle is amazing, and I really love it there. You can see many different wild animals, such as rhinos, deer, and various kinds of birds. I hope you can spot a tiger! The houses here are all built by Hari himself—he’s really impressive! The stay is also very comfortable ☺️. You can lie on the floor and bask in the sun, listen to music in a hammock, and just relax here. It’s so soothing.

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! The best hotel in town. Super-friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, modern spotless rooms with quality bathrooms and good AC, and just a 10 minute walk to the main street. Very good and varied breakfast available from 6am (ideal for those early morning safari outings) and evening meals were probably the best in all of Nepal. And even after we left, when our flight back to Kathmandu got unexpectedly cancelled, a quick WhatsApp message to the front desk and they arranged us a car transfer in minutes, incredible service!

We had a lovely stay at Tara’s guesthouse. Vicky & his team were so accommodating and provided us with lots of information about the town. We ended up booking our canoe & Jeep Safari with Taras guesthouse. The prices are competitive & it was comforting to know we were only supporting ethical operations. The room is basic but more than what you pay for. Overall we were very impressed.

We really enjoyed the closeness to nature, the fireplace , the food and the friendly atmosphere. The staff are a friendly bunch, that have very good vibes among themselves and it felt really nice to join in and hang with them and also my child felt very good with everyone as everyone was very warm towards him. And everyone was very kind and helpful with organising excursions/tickkets/guides. We had booked two nights but ended up staying four. We would have stayed longer but unfortunately we couldnt because of further plans.
