Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

Great location for the French Festival. Just a quick walk down the road to the event. Really nice cafes close by and the boat ramp is just across the park. The house is very spacious and clean.
