This is a very family based and friendly old fashioned style Bed and Breakfast. It is not fanciful nor flashy. Breakfast is provided so this is a plus. Owner jokes a lot and is friendly and helpful. It is affordable and easy access to SH 1 which is exactly what I wanted.

Well suited for family especially for our furbaby with the gated section. The pool was the bonus! Our teens enjoyed it! Communication with Ann was efficient. It’s secluded but has a Four square & petrol station up the road which helped.

A lovely small country cottage in a beautiful garden. The view is breathtaking and in the distance Auckland is just visible. The cottage is perfect to wind down after a long flight. Everything needed for a breakfast was available. Self made ham and cheese sandwiches from Carolyn gave us the boost for the rest of the day. The cottage is clean and well locked after. It also has a covered veranda which allowed us to watch the thunderstorm pass by. We wish we could have stayed longer.
