It's a perfect place for someone like me who loves nature but equally loves comfort and is not ready to sleep in a real tent in the desert. The resort is not far from the town, which is great if you need a doctor, for example. If you don't have a 4-wheeler, you can pay for a pick up to be arranged from the nearest petrol station to the resort. We enjoyed our stay because the staff were outstanding, very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were amazing. The place is beautiful and quiet at night, so we appreciated the getaway from Muscat. The villa was clean and cozy, but some tiny things (lamp shade, showerhead) needed replacement.

I had an unforgettable stay at this amazing desert camp! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The way description to find the camp was clear and precise, ensuring an easy and stress-free arrival. Also everytime i cant ask them if i didnt was sure if i am on the write way. I never drived before in the desert but with the information from him i dit it & it was also fun. The send you a place where you can defleate your tyres for 1 OMR. The hospitality of the team was outstanding—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly made us feel at home in the heart of the desert. The camp itself was beautifully set up, offering both comfort and an authentic desert experience. You have also a own bathroom, was i find its amazing. The stunning sand dunes, breathtaking sunsets, and peaceful atmosphere made this trip magical. Whether it was enjoying traditional food (they had also a lot of vegetarian option), sitting by the campfire under the stars, or experiencing exciting desert activities, every moment was very beautiful.

Everything was phenomenal, and the hosts were outstanding. Close to the campsite, there is a spot with a breathtaking view of both the sunset and sunrise. The food was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire, listening to stories about their people and way of life. At the end of the evening, we all danced together to their music. The people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend

‏+ The camp was in a fantastic location in the desert completely surrounded by dunes. The tents were extremely comfortable as were the beds. I slept like a baby. The outside toilets/showers were whopped you would expect from camping experience but perfectly usable and not a problem. The camp itself was very spacious and the tents were located some distance away from each other giving that feeling of isolation to some degree. The staff organised a variety of different activities which looked to be at a reasonable price. The camper staff are able to organise a transfer from a local village into the dunes if you only choose to hire a two wheel drive car. It looked to be just about possible to get to the camp with the two wheel drive car but not for the fainthearted, and would require a good degree of confidence

This place is honestly something else. Tucked away in the middle of the desert, it feels like a hidden paradise—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly beautiful. The property itself is stunning and the swimming pool is next-level. Floating in the pool with nothing but desert all around? Pure magic. Everything about our stay was just perfect. The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful and full of love. Every meal felt special. The host and staff were super friendly and made us feel completely at home. You can tell they really care about what they do. It’s the kind of place that stays with you. Totally unique, totally relaxing. Can’t recommend it enough. Already dreaming about going back.

We had a relaxing stay in a comfortable spacious tent. The welcome was very fun and this theme continued for our trip, with an authentic dinner and singing around a campfire under the stars. The views here are incredible, with an amazing sunset. Sultan was a really great guide and driver, we did activities including dune bashing with him which was very fun. We also visited a nearby village, stopping for Arabic coffee and cake and were able to purchase local handmade souvenirs. There are many activities to do on the dunes and camels in the camp. The hosts are truly accommodating and Sultan was very helpful with all our needs. I would definitely return again given the chance, thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Our experience at Zahr AlBun Villa was truly exceptional. The villa was beautifully authentic and perfectly located—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and fast, which made us feel very well taken care of. There was also a dedicated staff member on-site who brought us breakfast every morning and ensured everything in the villa was in perfect order. It was such a nice touch and really added to the relaxing experience. We highly recommend Zahr AlBun Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, authentic, and well-managed place to stay. The team was great and super helpful. Quick communications and clear instructions and directions. The views were absolutely amazing and lovely night sky filled with stars. Food was super tasty and freshly made on barbecue with vegetables and rice and fries. Breakfast also made fresh when you come to the breakfast table. We also rode quad bikes in the dunes which was great!!!

The place is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed sunset camel ride, and we went to see a training for camel running competition. We all enjoyed our stay and the food was also very nice. Ali was also very helpful and helped us arrange transfer to the venue.

Location was brilliant, right in the desert. The villas were comfortable and relaxing. Everything was clean. AC was working fully. The restaurant food was exceptional and the staff were always helpful. Loved the lounge / games area as it kept the kids occupied. Plenty of activities for the family. Spa was a bonus as well
