The Host Edgar and Miriam were attentive to our Needs, guided us about the places of interest around US. Facilities complete and good. Miriam and Edgar took care of US well , kitchen very complete. The staff and owners at Wilson Hills were exceptionally welcoming and courteous; their hospitality really set a warm tone from arrival to departure. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and appear newly built — everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The outdoor swimming pool is lovely and relaxing, a great place to chill after activity. Breakfast had a good variety (Asian & American) and was tasty. The overall comfort of the stay was excellent — good amenities, pleasant surroundings, and quiet atmosphere.

I stayed at Plage 65 for a couple of weeks to explore the surroundings and it was well worth it. I'm trying to stay on the budget, so I think it's a good value for money in the area. Might be the best deal for your buck, actually. The beach is really close, you can go surfing during the day and catch beautiful sunsets every evening. The old authentic try-living-Filipino-style house is away from the main road, so you'll be able to relax and have your peace after a long day. But due to the nature of the house, don't expect soundproof walls. I'm not a light sleeper - so had a comfy and good rest every night - but maybe something to keep in mind for those who are. There is stable wifi, if you need to catch up with work situation during your staycation. The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of cutlery, a gas stove and a kettle - all I need to cook own meals and enjoy some of the local cuisine, generously offered by the hosts. The hosts Saye and LJ are very nice and you can talk to them for any kind of advice to explore La Union. They also offer tours all around the area, and I can recommend going anywhere in the mountains - there are plenty of streams to dip into, beautiful waterfalls and amazing greenery you don't see anywhere in Europe. It's a must if it's your first time in the Philippines or any kind of tropical location. Nalvo Pebble Beach is worth checking out too for nice views and some tranquility. You can go snorkeling at the lagoon, near Immuki Island, which is popular among the locals.
