Whaaat a wonderful stay we've had. So wonderful people, Macrina, Charles, Belle (and the guests Gary and Anthony). Leaving after three days and we already take them in our hearts. The breakfast is the best we've had in Philippines (even compared to much more expensive places). Macrina is a cook and an extraordinary one. She adapted for us eating vegetarian and not just anything to check the box, delicious food. We went to the karaoke with them at Macrinas restaurant and had a great night. Lots of laughs. The beach, 3 minutes walk, is great. We went snorkeling and enjoyed it. A stay we just won't forget.

Everything about our stay was great! The shower was fantastic – strong pressure and perfect temperature, which made it really refreshing. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, even allowing us to check in early, which we truly appreciated. Having the option to cook our own breakfast made us feel right at home. It was a comfortable, welcoming place to stay.

The main reason why you should book this property is the owner. Florian is a great guy who will invite you to join him and his friends for trips or beers. The place is circa 200 meters from the beach which is perfect because it’s really calm and quite there. And the in-house restaurant is really good and cheap. Florian is a pro chef/butcher and it shows.

Really nice decor and well designed place. Tony the turtle was a star, Whiskey the golden retriever came to see us in our room every day! Kahlua and Bailey, small dogs, are always around to great guests. Add in a Koi pond and an aviary full of love birds it's a wonderful place to stay 😍

Close to the strip, helpful and professional staff. It's really affordable, my room was the deluxe and I had a great view of the water. The restaurant also has a great view and food. The waitresses are really nice.

Everything! Casalay is a perfect get away from the hussle & bussle of Manila. It is perfectly situated and gves pictureques views. The room is lovely. The bathroom big and water pressure very good. I like the location and how it was close to whote beach and the resturants. They had an area where we can wash our feet etc after being st the beach. Place also had wifi and AC which is plus. The staff were VERY nice and accommodating. The owner of the hotel happily picked us up from the calapan port to the hotel. They were offering the shuttle for free from the other port but we werent able to sail on time so had to take calapan. He also drove us to our hometown in pinamalayan which was so nice of him.

    Great resort at the beach, laid back, great experience. Not a luxury resort though, more a beach-camp/eco lodge with chickens cats and dogs running around and generally a very relaxed atmosphere. I loved it, but it's not for people who expect spotless, air-conditioned rooms and upscale amenities. Beach just at the doorstep, plenty of activities available.

    The service was impeccable. The resort staff were all very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely and the view from the terrace/restaurant/bar was beautiful. Once there, we found out that they rescue and provide care for stray cats and dogs, which is amazing. Petting the animals was also a much appreciated perk. The room was not only pretty, but the most quiet and comfiest we had in the Philippines. I now wish we had stayed there longer.

    Their staffs are accomodating, they booked the return trip, offerred trikes and made calls to provide rental motors. Definitely the best booking I've made this year! They're superb pet friendly as well.

    Beautiful "white house" accommodation that was steps away from the beach with crystal clear waters. Allowed pets (our Shih-Tzu, Lucy). Had massage therapists on call. Friendly staff.
