    A stunning location, set overlooking Lake Kivu with lush views of the lake below us. Doesn’t get any better! The photos do not do this place justice - we found a gem and cannot recommend it highly enough.

    love what the lodge stands for and how friendly the team are on the ground. for the price that you paying it is excellent place to stay! food was great, fresh and very tasty. location to the lake is perfect and there is a guide to take you on tours If you want that. all round great place.

    Our host Fausten was amazing. Such a kind and nice person, he made our stay all that much better. The location is very nice. The room is very good, clean, large, and great shower facilities. The mosquito net was really good. The outside areas with chairs and a nice lake view was absolutely amazing - such a great place to sit and relax in the shade, and also a great spot for birdwatching. The breakfast was great. One of the best places we have stayed.

    The manager was very helpful. With heavy rain beating on the tent i booked, she moved me to a room at no extra cost. The location was pleasant, with a short walk to the lakeside.

    Basic accommodation, bring your own toiletries, but excellent location, right on the lake. Excellent service from Isaac, and there are a couple of masseuses on site. Next door hotel has a bar and restaurant.

    Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. There was always fresh juice and good omelette. You can eat it on the lake shore with a beautiful view which is the best place to relax. We had a massage which was delightful. The room was very basic, but good value for the money.

    I got great information about bus and boda prices before which made it very easy and less stressful. I loved the kind staff and how they catered to my needs and questions. The water in the room was a great touch. The location was perfect and beautiful. I'll miss those views!
