We attended a wedding at the manor and decided to extended our stay to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. There's a gorgeous lake and you can go for a refreshing plunge (but the area has lots of waterlilies so can't do proper swimming) and hire a kayak. We also walked around the lake - it was great but would recommend borrowing the cycles from the manor as the 15-20km is more of a leisurely bike ride distance. Surrounded by idyllic countryside: flower fields where you can pick your own for a small donation, grain fields, cows and horses, old-fashioned barns, summerhouses, woods with blueberries and cowberries, lakes, etc. Comfy bed, clean new facilities, great breakfast. The main manor house is gorgeous.

Everyrhing The location is wonderful: away from the roads, by the lake and surrounded by forests. Vast open areas around the castle/hotel complex. Breakfast: superb quality. The staff are very accommodating, too. Comfortable beds, huge shower room. I liked the fact that it was clearly marked which parts of the complex allow dogs, cars, etc, and which don't. The room was small and it had no fridge, but there's a big common room and a separate fully equipped kitchen. There's a coffee machine in the kitchen as well.

The owners have renovated/ new build everything very carefully and with a lot of love. Exactly like the pictures, but even bigger, because the rooms are also high. It was the night, that I have slept best of my whole journey in Sweden (1 month) . The cleaning was also for Swiss ideas really good, that means perfect. I believe, sometimes the owners use the kitchen... also for them selves; however the kitchen, plates, glasses etc. are really clean and the kitchen is very big. There is also a second hand shop upstairs. For me that was the very best thing, because my shoes had been completely wet and I could buy very good and inexpensive used ones. The property is beautiful. Our studio was large and very nice. There were clean towels, soap and other toiletries provided. The available parking is a plus. Overall, very nice experience.
