This is probably one of the fewest accomodations I can honestly recommend anyone. The village Vojsko itself is a hidden gem me and my friends have completely fell in love with it on a first sight. The house is very very very clean, all the toiletries and kitchen utensils are provided, very comfortable and cute. I could go on and on but simply - don't even think about any other hotel/hostel/vacation home, book Sanjska and you are not going to be disappointed!!

Everything was just great. Despite we arrived late due to the extreme wheather condition in Slovenia at that time, they were so kind and waiting for us patiently. And of course cognac on the table was a real surprise after the long journey. Next surprise was the view from the window when we woke up in the morning. Horses on the yard, cottage surrounded by the mountains and sound of the river flowing by the side was fascinating. And last but not least, homemade syrup was given during our departure was tasty.

Our stay in Idrija was actually our plan B after our original accommodation was not available on short notice. But honestly, Idrija, and especially the hostel should have been our plan A. Idrija is a very undervalued destination, with great hikes, biking trails, history to discover and to cool off in the Idrijca river. Our room was spacious, well lit, quiet, clean, had a great view and the beds were comfortable. The hostel itself is very well equipped with several kitchens, toilets, showers and surprises endlessly with cool events, a cozy large terrace, a coworking space, an herb garden or the lounge. The ground floor is used for youth activities, making this place a very warm, buzzing (but not loud) meeting point of the local community. Our hosts Tomas and Patricjia, were amazing in giving us seriously the best tips to explore the region, ranging from concerts, bike rides, hikes, swimming spots and also choosing the best trips a little bit of a drive away - after all, if you do leave Idrija for a day trip, it better be worth it, and those recommendations did not disappoint. We stayed a full week in Hostel Idrija and had a truly great experience!

    Perfect place, perfect location for us, near the bus station, near the centre of town....near the Hleviska mountain with wondwerful marked path over the trees........ Comfort room, clean toilets, bathroom with warm water, clean kitchen with all equipment... Friendly and professional staff, so we stay one more night.... Special thanks to Marusha and the whole team who helped us that day and evening.... I recomanden to everyone who wants mountains, nature, adventures....

    Location is the kind of place that would make people want to sell their house/car/kids and simply buy a house in the area. A friendly lady that had to do most things alone due to the festival taking her staff. Great value for money, had a meal with a great salad, two Glasses of wine and i was stuffed for next to nothing. The area had kids entertainment items such as baskets hoop and table tennis so it was great to see families enjoy the place even more.

    Great and easy communication with the owner, Katja. Beautiful spacious house, outside patio with a grill, quiet surroundings. We were greeted by two loaves of home baked bread and a bottle of fruit brandy. And the Gačnik waterfall/canyon nearby was marvelous too.

    Located in a beautiful scenery , surrounded by forests and the beauty of the Slovenian nature. Super friendly and kind owner , she didn't charge me for the beer I had. Very clean , cozy room with fridge and a big bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. Nice breakfast included in the price. Free parking in front of the premises. Great value for money.

    It's a lovely location, surrounded by the mountains and there is a river just beneath (the river sound is so comfy for deep sleep at night). Lot's of greenery, beautiful scenery and there are horses and ponies and a dog Pele! The whole place has a unique vibe, it's so peaceful. The host is lovely, willing to help with everything, very kind and generous. I had a great time and I hope to come back again!
