The host introduced us to local peculiarities of Brkini region from his first-hand worldwide experience. He took his time and gave us a lift. We were offered some home-made drinks upon arrival and a cup of coffee with a croissant in the morning. An accessible and comfortable one-night stay between the hike on Slavnik hill with an amazing view of the Alps and the sea and our Sunday exploration of a nearby fascinating Dimnice cave with a bonus of Tone Kralj frescoes/caricatures in the church in Slivje.

The wooden cabin was lovely and well designed: enough space to organise our personal stuff, comfortable mattress, nice terrace with a view. The common kitchen was clean and had all the equipment needed. They have a washing machine and dryer that you can use on request. Our only regret was to stay only 2 nights in this campsite.

Super short stop on our way to Venice, only slept for the night. Very understated, quality furniture and in good taste. Wanted to leave early in the morning without having breakfast and boy im glad we didn’t. Super nice host made us a delicious omelette with cheese and prosciutto that lasted us until dinner.

Vila Marima is an exceptionally beautiful, comfortable house located in a quiet village. The house's modern furnishings and walls reminiscent of its past origins are in perfect harmony. The house meets all the needs of those who want a peaceful rest, where children will not be bored thanks to the jacuzzi and the table-tennis. On the huge terrace, you can have an evening romance, a conversation, looking at the starry sky or even a morning meditation looking at the small valley in front of the house. From this quiet village, you can reach the bustling city, beaches with about 20-minute drive, if you so desire, and the neighbouring countries are also easily accessible. Seven of us, with 5 children, visited Slovenia, spending 5 nights there. The children also enjoyed the comfort of the house and the environment. Upon request, plentiful breakfasts consisting of products from local producers are also available, you don't have to worry about what to buy for breakfast for 7 people during your vacation. The hosts Urska and Marko were very kind and helpful. We had a minor incident with one of the children, they immediately told us where we needed to go and what we needed to do, and even at night they inquired whether we received all the necessary care at the emergency room. I wholeheartedly recommend Vila Marima to those who want to relax in the evening and wake up in the morning in a really calm, natural environment after the bustling city trips and sightseeing. My rating is excellent, 10 points.

Beautiful place in a small village, very peaceful. The room was very nicely equiped, it was clean. The owner is very friendly, kind, takes care of the guests perfectly and makes wonderful breakfast! Our stay was perfect 🙂
