We had a lovely stay at Las Peurtas. The owner was very friendly and helpful (despite my poor Spanish). The hostel is located a short walk from the main square. It was incredibly clean and the garden was area was nice to sit in. As the rooms are set back from the street, it was quiet at night.

Such a Lovely, Comfortable, Welcoming and Warm place that feels like home and family. The room is big, very clean, the bed is very comfortable and there is another bed if youre a couple who planning on vacation, there is a fan, a shower and a toilet (also spotless!), a microwave, a fridge, Wi-Fi, there is a little store in the corner, its close to all the city attractions like the Cathedral of Santa Ana, swimming pools and natural swimming pools and parks, restaurants, buses that goes anywhere in town including to the Cerro Verde national park, the neigbourhood itself is very quiet and its people are very nice and welcoming. The best part of La Casita De Nataly is the family that runs it - they are the sweetest most welcoming people, very attentive to the guests needs and they are doing above and beyond for each guest to have an unforgattable stay and for him to feel like family! So, if youre reading my comment and planning to go to Santa Ana I HIGHLY recommend you to book this place, I had such a good experience here that I didnt want to leave and extended by three more nights, the price is so fair and economic, dont miss this place!!

The staff here were so lovely, Jona & Emily were so kind & helpful from the first time I met them. Everyone who worked here from the cleaners to the handy men were just so amazing. Hostel was so clean! Toilets & kitchen always in top shape. the kitchen is large so multiple groups can cook at a time which is great. Amazing places to chill socialise to meet other backpackers with multiple seatings outside. The location was also ideal being a short walk from the cathedral. I also thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour & pupusa class with the hostel. Cannot recommend enough

Had a four night stay here when visiting Santa Ana. A bit of confusion at first with some contradicting messages on how to get to the hostel was easily sorted out with a couple of messages on Whatsapp. The owner, Manuel, was really helpful and answered all my questions on what to do and how to get around. Hostal had just recently re-opened, so there were things being fixed. However, this didn't bother me. Hostel is a 5 min walk from the city center, which meant it was quiet but still close to the shops and restaurants. Two bathrooms, one with a hot shower (I opted for using the cold as more refreshingconsidering the average temperaturs), a large kitchen, and plenty of community space to relax. I stayed in one of the private rooms with a floor fan, which had a large comfy bed and a clothing rack to hang your clothes. Overall, I really enjoyed staying at Casa Isabel, which had a more traditional hostel vibe and not too loud.

The hostel is very clean and warm. The staff is just great! The location is not in the city center which makes it much more calm and appreciable. The exterior is very relaxing.Little more the mascot of the inn an extremely cute and affectionate dog. I thought I would book for one night finally I spent 5 days there

    Great cosy family run hostel, which felt like home. Great facilities, hot water, fans and 2 cute cats and a dog. Lovely free coffee in the morning and a really relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend it when visiting Santa Ana :)

    The staff were so friendly welcoming , smiling all time specially the guy for the breakfast has a big smile , his smile just built in , breakfast so good , Location great , clean , Please when you go to the Santa Ana volcano , take some extra water and food for the dogs all way at the top, I left 2 bowls there , hopefully still there .

    In the hostel I had everything what I needed. Stuff and the owner are extremely helpful and are so kind. There's hot water, good quality toiletries, breakfast for a request, fans to cool down and get rid of mosquitos, lots of fun activities, such as making pupusas, cool common area, lots of information about the buses, the nearest shops, etc, lovely cats and a dog, drinkable water, fully equipped kitchen. Nothing but to recommend!

    Great property with very friendly, very knowledgeable staff who give great advice on the city and surrounding areas. Clean pool with mice surrounding area. Good size kitchen with the added bonus of communal rice, pasta, oats, spices, oil etc and plenty of storage for your own food too. Also have a super cute dog and cat (who sometimes sneaks in the rooms at night to snuggle!)
