This resort was absolutely breathtaking. It is built on the cliff side and has surrounding views of the ocean. The restaurant was right over the water and our room had scenic views of the sunrise. The staff were friendly and the location is perfect for those who want to experience the island life but also want tranquility and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again!

It is a small hostel with only 20-25 beds, making it very personal to get to know each other. Every night there is an activity (optional of course), otherwise anyone can also chill in the common area - with pool, a foosballtable, a TV and a lot of sitting areas (couches, beanbags, etc). The beds are very comfortable, with airco running almost all the time in the rooms. The showers are large and you can loan a towel for a deposit only. The staff is extremely nice, fun and helpful with anything at any time! If I come back to Ko Tao, I will book at Wonderland again!

We loved our stay at Cape Shark Villas! The view was something I could never get tired of.. we stayed in C16B which is at the top of the property, so we got a nice view of the mountains, as well as the Ocean. As other reviews have mentioned you do have to walk down to the swimming area (and up!), and it is quite steep.. however this is not a problem for us at all, but just should be noted if in relation of which villa you are booking on the property. The staff were very helpful + friendly, especially Maximiliano. He was extremely helpful in booking everything for us, and we had some great conversations with him! The room itself was very clean, the shower had hot water, the pool was warm, the bed was comfortable, and the fan/AC kept us cool throughout the night. We have no complaints, and have already talked about when we can come back! During our stay we did a message, and we took a water taxi out to Koh Nang Yuan, both organized by the hotel. Would recommend both experiences. Thanks so much for a great stay!

10/10 for location: on the pier with easy access to ferries diving shops and the boats for daytrips I liked both the common area and dorms and ended up extending my stay You can either book diving(SSI) through hostel or with one of the many diving shops nearby. Most things are within walking distance, but was still quiet enough at night. Only some noise from the many boats and ferries during day Free drinking water and boiling water available. You can also pay for breakfast The couple who owns the hostel was really friendly and helpful!

    the location is amazing, it is right on the beach, the pier and next to an amazing cafe called coconut monkey. the staff were really friendly and accomodating and we loved it was dog friendly!
