We had a lovely stay at African Bungalows in Nungwi! The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and it was great to see the owner around, always making sure everything was just right. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and with something new to enjoy every day. The serene atmosphere made it feel like an oasis in the middle of Nungwi, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We absolutely loved our time here and would happily come back for another stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and memorable Nungwi getaway!

The hotel is located near the beach and the restaurant on the top floor has great views in all directions. The room was clean and the air conditioning made it comfortable. Our stay at Zanzicrown was crowned with success because in addition to a comfortable, clean room where we felt safe, we made friends for life. Elena and Matteo are the kind of hosts who provide the tourist with absolutely everything necessary for a perfect stay. We had the flight in the afternoon, but there was no problem for late departure. Breakfast every morning includes fresh fruit and very tasty cakes made by Elena. Nassor, Ali (Mister Lover-Lover), and all the staff met here are wonderful people. We became friends so much that we miss them. Paulino the cat 😽.. our alarm with the heart 🖤 outside. A perfect place for holidays if you enjoy uncrowded beaches. Appartment offers all the comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. Adam, the estate manager supported us with anything we needed: organising transportation, delivering produce, providing information, etc. Zanzibar felt like home.
