Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Antonito

What I really liked were the people that work at the hotel. Then I like "old." It brings back memories as I am 87 years old. My daughter and I were there about a year and a half ago. She met the ghost in room 5. We know it was definitely something as I had my little dog with me and she grumbled all night long. I think that that ghost just did not want anyone in the little bed.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in Antonito. We were visiting to take the Cumbres & Toltec train one of the days. The motel is very basic and pretty run-down (needs a lot of maintenance) which we knew from prior reviews. But the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, it was quiet, inexpensive, and we slept well here. It is also a super convenient location for the train as it is just a couple of minutes' walk away. There is normally coffee in lobby but when we visited the machine was broke but we walked to the next door Sinclair station for coffee and a breakfast burrito in the morning. About a 15 minute walk or short drive to the restaurants in Antonito for dinner.
