I slept in the Overlook Lodge. The room was clean and the view on the lake was amazing. Even if outside was pretty cold, the room was warm and very clean. I had no problem parking neither at the Inn and at the Lodge. Even with the snow and the ice, with the car was easy to reach both location. Other than the room, I tired the services of both the Hikers' Cafe and the second floor bar. They were both very good in terms of price-quality ratio, with plenty of possible choices. The location, generally speaking, is amazing. The staff was helpful and easy going.

We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.

Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

Beacon Hermitage features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Beacon, 21 km from Mid Hudson Children'S Museum.

Special, special place! Very comfortable, warm feel to this house, and filled with interesting art! Loved my room, the blue barn, the garden, the Highlands. More than anything, Jim is a stupendously great person and host imho. I’m somewhat of a reserved individual, so it was great to have some quiet time alongside such lovely and generous company. Also went out of his way numerous times to make this feel as comfortable as home (thank you for that hot cider sir!) Looking forward to a chance to come back! Cheers 🔮

BEAUTIFULLY furnished room and bathroom, an absolutely comfortable bed, perfectly working heating. An incredibly good breakfast at the cozy barn and dinner at the tavern we can also only recommend. liked then location close to the freeway for where we were visiting. Also close to shopping for w the walmart super store. Was able to fix meals in our room. Nice breakfast room was comfortable and clean. It met out expectation.
