The room was super clean and very spacious. Mattress and bedding was comfortable. The a/c kept the room temperature just right. I was very pleased with all aspects of the room. The grounds are well-kept and nice for walking dogs.

I loved that the historic quality of the Inn was preserved and that it had not been renovated to death. Its antique charms were well preserved and that’s what I loved best. The creaking floors, the dark hallways with nooks and crannies, the wonderful antiques. Please don’t change!

    Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. I booked a lake view room and was happy I did! Very pet friendly too. It offered the relaxing stay I needed after a long drive.

    Do not stay at this hotel. Do not be lured by the images of a nice view by the lake. I cannot get a good sleep here. Despite not having a pet in my room, I heard many dogs barking all night from the neighboring room. I called the front desk twice, but they insisted they had already contacted the guests. The dogs in the neighboring rooms continued barking, so I called a second time. The staff at the front desk did not offer to change my room; furthermore, they claimed I had already signed an agreement to accept that this hotel would be noisy.

    One of the lowest cost options around. Convenient location for Berkshire access - near the interstate, across the street from a good breakfast place, near a Tesla Supercharger. Dog-friendly. I slept well.

    I needed a pet friendly stay over between Central NY and Cape Cod MA. This hotel was perfect for that. Nice view, easy to walk dog by the Lake and very nice staff. No frills. Just a good spot.
