The fact that when I was assigned a room that was stated "Non-smoking" it smelled of smoking. The lady verified that it did have the smell of smoke, was sure that someone had smoked in the room regardless of sign and moved me to another "Non-smoking" room without any problems. Also it was within walking distance to get food, etc. (McDonald, Smart & Final, Harbor Freight, Panda Express, Star Bucks).

    The staff and manager were very friendly and fixed the problems I pointed out. Our room was upgraded when we mentioned we had dogs, as booking.com did not mention we had dogs to the hotel.

    Clean, quiet. Though it is inexpensive, there were no riff-raff or parties as we experienced at the local Motel 6. Pet fee was reasonable ($20). There are areas to walk your dog.
