The staff were exceptional. Efficient, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were impeccable. We ate at poggio on staff recommendation and it was delicious. The high ceilings in the rooms, furnishings and the view made this a beautiful stay. The beds were extremely comfortable too. Thank you

We were upgraded for free since they had lots of availability. The house is absolutely stunning. I booked a room here on a whim because we walked past it and it looked so beautiful on the outside. I was so happy to discover it was a hotel!

    The location is terrific; a short walk to the ferry into San Francisco, a great restaurant (not affiliated) on the ground floor level, and an easy stroll down the esplanade. The bed was very comfortable, and the balcony was really relaxing, facing away from the setting sun so you don't roast in the evening. Maid service was first rate.

    The location of Cavallo Point is unmatched. As promised, we got a room with a “partial” view of the GG bridge. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had dinner one night at the restaurant on the property (just burgers) which was nice.
