    It's all about the location when we're visiting relatives for the holidays, and this fit the bill for that. Although it's close to the freeway, there was no traffic noise in the room. Since there was no carpet in the room, I think it was a pet room. Our dog is totally housebroken, but I know not all pets are, so it was nice to know the floors were really clean.

    The location was perfect for a one night stay while visiting our 96 year old grandpa who lives about 20 minutes away. The staff was very friendly. We were very grateful that we could bring our dog as this location is pet friendly. Our room was very clean and did not smell bad despite it being a pet friendly room. We would definitely stay here again.

    The Garden Inn is a perfect location for pet lovers. Easy I-5 access yet no traffic noise to bother the pooch. Great walkability: safe neighborhoods for evening exercise and close to Memorial Dog Park and the Willamette River. The reservation attendant was fantastic, making sure my Beagle and I had a first floor room near the back entrance parking lot and the fenced in dog relief area.

    The rooms were pet friendly at no additional cost; doggie doodie bags were provided at grassy locations (though most people were irresponsible and did not pick up after their pets). Because we travel with 2 dogs we’ve stayed in a few Motel 6’s from the west coast to the Midwest and some of them are substandard. In my opinion this is the nicest of them all!
