Absolutely loved it and extended my stay. Breakfast is delicious and a lot, the guest family are the cutest and the dorms (4 beds) and pool area are spacious and clean! Pool table, table tennis and darts free for use. It's outside of town, but easy and cheap to rent a scooter or catch a ride with a local for little money.. Perfect if you want to stay somewhere more quiet but very welcoming. Booked the Lan Ha bay day tour and everything was well planned and an amazing experience. Highly recommend, if I'll ever be that way again, I will rebook for sure!

I had a very comfortable stay although my bed was hard. The room was very spacious and nice with a balcony. I had my dinner at the hotel's restaurant. I ordered oysters and pad Thai, not knowing that the portions were huge! I couldn't eat all. That was a real bonus with very reasonable price. Thank you.

It's hard to fault this homestay is n any way, as they are providing a pretty unique experience, so a 5 star hotel it isn't, but it's clean, comfortable, the food was great, and the staff attentive and friendly. (there are only 3 home stays on the bay as far as we know) . It is different to being on a cruise, as you are in a fixed location and you are experiencing what it is like to live on the water. If you want a unique experience, get a boat tour for the day from cat Ba and stay here over night,

just like other reviews about this hotel. they were very warm to us and especially they upgraded our room to lake view without any extra charge. it was great. although the bed was a bit hard but i personally like hard beds. the receptionist also booked tour tickets for us and gave us a discount. the breakfast was delicious and simple.

    Best information and accomodation for a short stay in cat ba. Accomodation is out of town and peaceful away from the tourist party backpackers. Only downside to that is you have to pay the 80k dong into town if have young children but you can rent scooters. Best dog, breakfast and cabins. Highly recommend
