Mao Home is very close to the airport and the city center, about 15 minutes by bus or taxi, yet there are many places nearby that give you a local feel.　Restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores and laundry shops are all within walking distance. The hosts, Mr.Tom and Mr.Toan, and their dog, will warmly welcome you. 　Mr.Tom speaks English well and Mr.Toan speaks Japanese well.　Mr. Toan lives in the hotel as a housekeeper and is always happy to help you.　 You can create fond memories by having coffee with the locals at Mr. Toan's cafe in the square near the hotel in the morning.　The homemade yogurt is also delicious, so be sure to buy some and try it !

The communication, ease of access, and ease of payment were second to none. The room was the most peaceful we had in HCMC even with it's bustling streets going on nearby. Nice comfy bed and the use of Netflix was a plus. We had Rm302.

We stayed here only one night as we had the flight in the morning. Anyway, I truly recommend this accommodation! It was one of the cleanest accommodation in Vietnam and the furniture is modern as you can see in photos. :) They helped us with calling a taxi to go to the airport (the distance is around 8 minutes with car from airport).

This is a hidden gem - I only stayed one night before flying out but would have loved to stay longer. The room is nice and quiet with a balcony where one can do yoga in the morning or relax in the hammock at night. The couple who runs it are super sweet. It’s in a great location and I loved the two dogs and cat living in the house.

Booked with my family and stayed at the 3 bedroom apartment, we walked in and the living room was spacious, the kitchen and laundry bit were great, and the rooms were tidy and spacious, it had an ensuite and another bathroom so was really happy with this. Wifi is great, used the gym and the pool too. We also had an Amazing view at 14th floor, we also had the breakfast buffet and was outstanding, overall a great stay.

    Really happy with the location (heart of the city) and the fact that the hotel is dog friendly. To get both these things at a good price is amazing. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was nice and brightly lit with a good view of the street below and nice decor. It seemed modern and freshly painted.
