The best stay we had in Vietnam! Beautiful garden with a pool, awesome brick cottages with a coconut roof. Owner Thanh was very kind and helpful. He rent us scooters, recommended places to visit and took us on a bike ride. Food at the restaurant was delicious.

I was lucky, this hostel has recently opened, it is clean and quite cozy. The hostel is all in flowers. The owner is a young lady. She copes well, because she has been working in the travel business for a long time. She told me all about the Mekong Delta while she prepared my breakfast. It is located near a quiet park, and it looks more like a homestay.

I was the sole guest of this beautiful garden homestay for two nights. Their cabins are spacious with fans and adjacent tiled bathrooms. There is a fridge filled with water, beers and soft drinks. Guests can chill in the hammock or chairs on the porch of their cabins amidst a lush garden with a little lake filled with fish. Clean, large, comfy king bed with mosquito net. Be mindful that this place is 15 km away from Ben Tre town. It is near several small villages where you can spend days discovering on a bicycle (provided by the homestay). What exceeded my every expectation and I appreciated the most was the impeccable personalised attention by the homestay keeper Le. Although she does not speak any English, she went out of her way and beyond to take me around Ben Tre on her scooter. Thanks to her, I was privileged to see how local people live and could taste many local specialties. It was just extraordinary, thanks to Le.

Sometimes when travelling you end up in a place where everything seems to come together. This is such a place. Located on an island in the Mekong, close to the city of My Tho (just take a ferry, it costs only 2000 dong per person and goes about every ten minutes) but away from all the noise and hassle. On top of that, not only is it the only homestay on the island, it is the only whateverstay on the island. There are no other hotels, appartments, guesthouses or homestays. It's just a small Vietnamese village. If you want to live Vietnam style, this is it. Chuong, the owner, is a warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and helpfull owner, you can ask him anything. Communication was fluid and easy. There are no real restaurants on the island but do yourself a favour and eat with the family. The meals, cooked by his wife are probably the best you will eat on your travel through Vietnam. Our room overlooked the Mekong river and was spacious, had airco, a large bed and a desk. We had a clean private bathroom. And our room had a terrace from where we could watch the sunset. Or walk 2 minutes to the tip of the island for even more perfection. We rented a scooter to disover the other islands and even Ben Tre. Ask Chuong for directions. This is just the perfect spot! We felt sorry we had to leave, we could have stayed here for ages.

Property located amongst the coconut trees out in the countryside. Quite a distance from town but beautiful and quiet. Spent the afternoon relaxing on the verandah right by the water and palm trees. Good bicycles available for free. Mr Tay is a great and very helpful host who even took us on a bike ride. Dinner and breakfast was delicious

The hotel is located in a wonderful island crowded by palm trees and colorful flowers.The owner is super nice, she speaks great english and will guide you throught the tour around the area. She helped us book the trip to Can Tho. We couldn't ask for more we really enjoied our stay at Nam Binh Homestay very much and we high reccomend it!
