It was out of this world. Everything was perfect. Could not have had a better time at De Cango. The lake was perfect for swimming and cooling off. I went for a few early morning runs on the various tracks around the farm. Looking out onto the ostriches and springbok from our room was really special. The kitchenette and shared kitchen has everything you need to stay for months. Make sure you bring all your food because it's 30 mins + away from the nearest supermarket. You are completed surrounded by nature here and it is wonderful.

The room is perfectly cleaned, and we felt like at home talking with you and your wife in the dinner room, next to the wood stove and stroking your lovely dogs! The location is stunning, totally worth a visit! The property was very recently purchased by new owners who are quite obviously putting in the effort to make the property even better. It’s got great bones and I’m sure when their vision comes to life it will be truly amazing. They were very kind and offered us great service, including a very tasty breakfast. Our room was comfortable and thankfully had heating for the very cold night. I would definitely recommend!

    Cul De Sac is a place that I have stayed at a few times since 2009. In 15 years, the place has always been amazing. Friendly and welcoming hosts and staff, comfortable units, super braai facilities and spotlessly clean. The beds are super comfortable and the showers super hot! The place is also pet friendly which suited our needs on our latest trip.

    Really comfortable stay, lots of little touches that show great care. The bed and linens were snug, good water pressure and hot water, delicious and generous breakfast and peaceful location, a 2min drive to Main Street/petrol station and supermarket. Gardens and outside fire were nice touches too.
