Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. We enjoyed the stay in Gutzhof zum Schluxen very much since it's located in a calm valley right next to a farm but still not too far from more touristic places such as Neuschweinstein castle or the town of Füssen. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We liked that we could order fresh Brezels for breakfast and in the evening we enjoyed the Spielzimmer where we played ping-pong. The accomodation also offers fresh coffee and tea, drinks, snacks or even pizza, which you can buy anytime during the day. Overall, I'd really recommend this beautiful place and will gladly return some day.

Hotel Tannenhof is nestled at the foot of stunning hills in Lechaschau, and yet is just a short walk from the centre of Reutte. A rich and healthy breakfast is available every morning.

Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. Everything was sublime, but what I loved most was the location alongside one of the hills and the peaceful morning view.

Her son was on hand if needed as he spoke good English. She even gave us a parting gift of some local delicacies.

The trails to the castles are just behind the property and we hiked up there on a couple of occasions. Host was friendly and accomodating and the apartment was spacious with a nice balcony.

Loved the location, the view and the facilities. One of the best stocked rental I've stayed in. Lovely owner was helpful and friendly Would recommend and or rent again
