The location was central to the main areas we wanted to see- Hallstat, Salzburg, and Berchtesgaden. The rooms were exceptional, especially if you prefer a quiet, pretty room to a chain hotel. Plenty of space and the ability to eat in the room if you wish with hot plate, utensils, etc.

We had a lovely stay at master Linzergasse. The apartment is located in a quiet area, yet close to everything you need (a grocery store just 1 minute walk from the apartment). You can reach everything by foot, and it is also very close to the bus stop where you can catch the bus to the airport (5 minute walk). The apartment was much bigger than we expected (so was the bed), the communcation with the staff was very easy on whatsapp, and we even got to store our luggage in a locker (a huge locker!) for several hours before we left. I highly recommend staying at master Linzergasse if you are travelling to Salzburg for the first time. Thank you so much for making our stay in the city so easy and flexible!

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. Free WiFi is available. I really loved the decoration of the room — stylish and cozy! The view is absolutely fantastic — you can see the whole city of Salzburg right from the window, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Located in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, 29 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Sonnhof am Hochkönig provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The property is non-smoking and is situated 48 km from Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Course. Beautiful, cute and warming hotel. We were just passing by and I regret we didn't book it for a longer period. It's a place you definitely get very comfortable. Hoping to book it for a real stay in the future.

Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. Guests benefit from a modern spa area and a traditional restaurant. A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.

Each room has a balcony with impressive mountain views and a free minibar, which is refilled daily with non-alcoholic beverages. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski area is 5 km away. Garage parking is possible for a surcharge. Cleanliness of the hotel, friendly staff, very quiet and spacious SPA area and the food was amazing! Breakfast and dinner was a 10/10!
