HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

Not social, but amazing quality and worth the price - the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are large with great showers, and everything is so clean. The breakfast is amazing also! Simple, but so good - freshly baked bread, good cheeses, homemade müsli and jam etc. It is right next to the Basel Bad station, and you can be at Basel SBB in 20 minutes with the tram/bus And the staff is so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend:))

The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Truly perfect conditions! I would definitely love to return here on my next visit to Basel. It is set 400 metres from Jewish Museum of Basel and provides a lift. Kunstmuseum Basel is 700 metres from the apartment and Basel SBB is 1.3 km away. Location was excellent, we hardly had to walk to reach center of the city. Facility was very clean and comfortable.

This is the first time I've rated a hotel this high. We loved it. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable with simplicity. The staff was top notch. You can not beat the location.

Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. The location is central and easy to reach. Rooms are quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a variety of options.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town.

The hotel offers a combination of fresh and friendly colours with comfort and functionality. The reception is open daily from 6:00 until 23:00. The staff were brilliant - even helping me mend a pair broken glasses, and the breakfast was a joy.

Gorgeous location, with direct access to the woods. Very clean and spacious room. Lovely garden, with view on the valley. Very friendly staff. Good choice of restaurants 5/10 min by car. Not far from highway.
