I chose Basel solely because of its rail connections, but am glad that I took time in the end to explore - it's a wonderful and friendly city.

The staff was very friendly, we had the check in at 3PM but we arrived a little early and the staff let us go inside to put our luggage in our place instead of making us wait outside. We really appreciate that ( hoping we hadn’t disturbed the staff who were cleaning ). Our stay also included the BaselCard which allowed us to use the public transport for free. The location of the property is also very convenient as it’s right in the centre of Basel. The apartment was very lovely !
