The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Polo has clearly built and handpicked everything in this finca with so much love and dedication. Located deep in the jungle, it offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, with only sounds of the wildlife and a river nearby for a refreshing dip (and weirdly, the WiFi was still one of the fastest I’ve used in Colombia). The food is simply outstanding - the best I’ve had in months of traveling South America. Alvaro, the chef, mostly uses ingredients from the finca’s own farm, creating delicious, well-balanced, and creative dishes. The chocolate tour is a must—easily the best chocolate I’ve had in South America. Everything here feels real, organic, and unforgettable!

Viviana y Rosario are so good with the coocking and Enyer was kind as well as Liliana (the host). When you get to the beach after a 5 minutes walk you get a maevelous view of a private beach, and on top of the rock a nice bar called Sierra, where you can enjoy an impressive sunset over the river. The breakfast was delicious and the food at Casa Origen was really good too.

We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

The accommodation features room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Everything! An amazing hide-away, so glad we found it! We extended our stay as we didn't want to leave. Laurence & Bruno are wonderful hosts - welcoming & helpful. All the staff are great - smiley & happy. Great vibe amongst all the team. Food is yum - lots of great options. Best breakfast in Colombia! Great music playing in the restuarant every night! Lots of hammocks & sunbeds to chill out. Great walking, hiking & running trails all around the hotel. The best bit is the river crossing on arrival - adds to the whole adventure. Loved it! Book it!
