It is huge and super spacious- really beautiful inside, a fast check in and out and a super great host who communicates any problems (for example- the internet was down due to the rain). We LOVED our stay and so happy it is per friendly as we really got to enjoy it to the fullest. The area that surrounds it is majestic and there are close really affordable and beautiful restaurants near by! The facilities were great- super modern with hot water and enough blankets!

Thomas is an amazing host and the property is very beautiful and well maintained. Thomas will go extra mile to tend to guests needs and his father dropped me at the airport at 3.30 am in the morning for a nominal charge. The place is secure and pristine. Highly recommended if you want to crash one night here before your flight.

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We just loved our short stay here! The lodge was beautifully made with so many nice details, realy showing some great skills. The kotchen was fully equippes although we did not use it. The owners were lovely people. And the welcome with wine and chocolate was amazing! Unfortunately it rained heavily for most of our stay but we had a small window to listen to and watch birds in the morning.

With quiet street views, this accommodation features a patio. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Lovely place 15min ride from la fortuna. We loved being amongst all the animals, close to the nature. We ended up extending our stay one night.

Their patio has a tree, plants, chairs and a pool with fish and waterfall. The dining room is next to the patio. The bunk beds have privacy curtains and the beds are comfortable. This is an enjoyable family environment. There is a place to hang clothes to air dry, and access to a washer and dryer for a reasonable cost. They can drive you to many locations near or far for great rates. The hostal is in a controlled community. There are good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. And downtown Alajuela is a 20 minute walk. Alajuela is a very safe community to walk and enjoy the restaurants, parks, shopping, etc. Buses to and from the airport are in Alajuela (20 minute walk) or they can drive you to/from the San Jose Airport, which is a 10 minute drive.
