Villas have a kitchenette and lounge. The standard and superior rooms are set in different areas of the property. Iliked almost everything: location, facilities, room, pools etc. The only thing I would recommend is to give more options in breakfast. lack of vegetables and other healthy options was the only thing I didn’t like in this hotel

I stayed here for my last night before leaving Costa Rica and the hosts made me feel so at home! The place is really cozy and clean, it has enough space to move around and a beautiful veranda. Especially the hosts were very sweet and made sure I had everything I needed and more: they brought some coffee and fruits and had some helpful tips about where to eat. For a small fee I got an amazing breakfast and they took me to the airport- the perfect last night.

I loved the unique style, location and the amount of care and consideration that went into the details of this place. The property is non-smoking and is set 4.6 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. Door lock is via PIN, so no need to carry (and possibly forget) keys. Location is excellent - close to many restaurants and supermarkets, but far enough from the tourist path. There's a private garden area where I was able to work from several mornings to get my sun, amidst the chirping of the birds. Maikol helped me book all of the after-work activities I've done in La Fortuna. He also went above and beyond in ensuring I was satisfied with those activities even though he wasn't the tour operator.

This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk. The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden. There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.
