The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

It is situated 2.9 km from Luxor Museum and offers private check-in and check-out. The guest house features a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Abeer and Austin were very welcoming and warm. They helped me like a friend and I am grateful. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hot water running and kitchen was equipped to be used. I would recommend this place also to travelers with friends because there is a nice living room space and rooftop to hang around before bed. The location is walking distance from Luxor Temple which is great to explore the area. I have enjoyed their homemade Egyptian meal on the rooftop. I chose fish and it was flavorful, soft and crunchy. Do try their meal! They have other meals and drinks.

In the West bank district of Luxor, close to Medinet Habu Temple, Luxor Villa Hatshepsut has a garden and a washing machine. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The bed and breakfast features mountain views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. It was by far the best stay during our whole Egypt tour. Everything was just perfect, the owner Khaled responded promptly to any question, he has own car and driver that can bring you anywhere for good price. The whole villa and garden is amazing, clean and peaceful. Within 5 minutes you can reach all sights on the west bank and from the ferry port you can reach it by 5-10 minutes easily. Comparing east and west bank we would definitely stay again on the west bank - much less traffic, noise and most importantly MUCH LESS people trying to get money on the street from you.

Located in Luxor, 1.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Nour El Balad features a garden and views of the city. Featuring room service, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant, a water park and a terrace. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Nour el Balad is an absolute gem tucked away from all the crowds. The guesthouse is a traditionally built home with lovely little details and decorations everywhere, and palm furniture including the beds. The breakfast included is delicious, but make sure to stay for lunch or dinner — the roast duck and molokhiya are absolutely outstanding! Luxor’s restaurant scene isn’t amazing and we ended up eating dinner at Nour al Balad every night of our week-long stay. Abdullah and his team offer warm hospitality and can also help with transfers and taxis as needed. We have stayed there twice now and can’t wait to return!!

Great location on the calmer Westside. Great wifi (we both work online). Offers transportation from the Eastside for much cheaper than you can get elsewhere with all your luggage. More spacious than we expected with AC in the bedroom and very big bathroom. Host is very trustworthy and helpful which I do not expect in Egypt. Actually one of the few people you can really trust. Offered if we want to go anywhere in a tour etc he’d contact his people to get a price, but also told us no pressure at all, do your research or even book online or with someone else. Places in Cairo for example would 100% be pushy and scam you here. We did the hot air balloon ride through him and a Nile sunset ride. Both very fair priced, even at the competitive bottom from prices online. Not exactly sure how it compares to offers on the street, but probably very good too. Plus you go with people you can actually trust without getting scammed. Also did a valley of the kings plus some more westbank things with a driver and guide through the host. Nice driver, guide spoke great English, had great information (we overheard some “guides” in places basically pointing out “hey this is a rock”. You get the idea.) This one was worth every dollar. Would 100% book again if we come back to Luxor.

The property itself is lovely, with nice, clean rooms and everything in working order. We really appreciated how all the amenities and appliances were functioning perfectly, which made our stay so easy and comfortable. ​The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, which made a big difference. The location is also ideal, with a market nearby, making it convenient to grab anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.9 km from Medinet Habu Temple. Everyone welcomed me warmly when I walked in. “KR” stands for “Kareem”, which is the hotel's full name - looking for the full name instead would be easier to locate. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly! Mahmoud, a wonderful young man, serves you with his heart. Another young man - I can’t spell his name, but he has green eyes- beautiful- you will easily recognize him, not because of his red hair and green eyes, but also his bright smile. Overall, my stay there was great! Egypt has the nicest people, and KR has been a highlight of my experience. I really love them and recommend this place to you!
