Positive aspects to consider: The Booking.com images match reality: the rooms are new, with new furniture, spacious layout, very comfortable king-size beds, and large pillows. Everything is brand new, from the wardrobes to the bathroom. New Carrier air conditioning units, a large refrigerator, TV, LED lights, wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower cabin or bathtub. Hot water has normal pressure but is very comfortable for showering. Excellent soundproofing from the street—it doesn’t feel like you’re in the city center. The hotel’s location is excellent: city center, within walking distance of Tahrir Square. The area is safe, with a police station on the back street. In front of the hotel is MISR Bank with a 24-hour ATM that always works. Don’t be fooled by the building’s old exterior—the interior is renovated, and improvements are still ongoing. The WiFi works very well (VDSL technology, typical Cairo speeds). Multiple hotel routers ensure a stable, uninterrupted connection. The breakfast is delicious and authentically Egyptian: coffee, milk, fruit, bread, jam, butter, "La Vache Qui Rit" cheese, etc. Breakfast is served on a terrace next to reception, overlooking a busy street with two benches. Strongly advise against renting a car—don’t even think about it! Uber is the smartest, most practical, and affordable option. We used it dozens of times flawlessly. The STAFF is fantastic!!! JOUSEF, ABDALLA, ERINY—all young, tourism-trained, friendly, and attentive. They communicate via WhatsApp, always smile, and promptly fulfill requests. We requested a room change due to a shower leak, and they moved us immediately.

The staff are helpful, met an owner and he is lovely. The hotel was even more beautiful to me than in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, lots of details to look at and admire. I stayed here twice and I would go back again if I return to Cairo. Also, rooms were super clean, breakfast is inexpensive, healthy, and delicious! Also, neighbourhood is interesting and safe for a solo female to walk around. The house is tucked behind a gate and is a quiet place away from Cairo’s noisy traffic.

The location is stunning with a good view of the sphinx and the pyramids and it's quite calm. The tours provided by the hotel were really good too by Ahmed and Islam. Highly recommend this place.

That was a lovely nice stay in Giza very quiet, comfortable and clean the owner Youssef is very helpful and always smiling, gave us great tips during our stay and allow us to late checkout without with paying extra , Egyptian breakfast with unbelievable view from the rooftop highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Giza to see the pyramids.

I decided to book this hostel because it looks neat, clean and location is in the center, near the Egyptian Museum. We stayed here only 2 nights, separately 1st and last night in Egypt. They let us use the public restroom at the day we already checked out, before moving to night bus to go to Qena, kept our luggage without any charging during our trip to Luxor, Aswan, until the day we were back to Cairo. They also offers laundry service in good price. Furthermore, you can book private trip through the hostel, e.g. to the pyramids. Additionally, the reception is always (24/7) occupied, helping us at our late checkin and early morning checkout, the staff is truly amazing! They are always happy to assist no matter what, and you can easily contact them via WhatsApp at any time.
