Breakfast was fabulous, our room was very comfortable, our view was great, not what we had hoped for but we booked too late to be choosy. The man who checked us in, Evo, remembered us from eight years ago. He didn’t just say he remembered, he remembered that we farmed and what we farmed. Evo remembered why we were there eight years ago. We remembered him, but for him to remember us was amazing. Eight years ago we only stayed 3 nights in this hotel, Evo definitely made us feel welcomed. He mentioned he would like photo with us before we left but that didn’t happen. We hope to be back in two years. Evo, we will make sure a photo happens then.

Its location in Valle de Broto means you can go skiing in winter or practise adventure sports such as canyoning, rafting or trekking. Really great place to stay. Cute, clean, comfy, cozy. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Located in a quiet hillside within easy walking distance to the little town.

Despite our lack of Spanish we were made incredibly welcome by Rocio and Alix. Supper (very good) served in front of a log fire in a bar full of locals. Also appreciated the welcome for Daisy dog who immediately fell in love with the resident perro Sherlock. We hope to return.

Featuring a terrace, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Some rooms at the property have a balcony with a mountain view. The location is great, just a block from the main square in this teeny village. The woman who greeted us was welcoming and kind. So many thoughtful details made the room feel warm and comfortable. The double shower in our room was amazing.

There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The location and views are stunning. The owners were away and had blocked out other bookings while their parents looked after those already confirmed. Their hospitality and willingness to ensure a great stay was so clear. They went way and beyond to anticipate and meet all of my needs. The bed was a good size king with wonderful linen sheets, spacious bathroom and great views from the balcony. The common lounge looked comfortable with games and tv.

43 km from Torreciudad, LAS BORDAS DE MIQUELET is a recently renovated property situated in Viacamp and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. There is a private entrance at the country house for the convenience of those who stay. The country house has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Nice place to stay to get away from the city. Really close to an amazing hike!
