Staff at the 24-hour front desk speak Catalan, English, Spanish and French. We had a great stay. Opted for the largest room while booking, the room size was generous, with plenty of space. The sunrise views from the balcony were the highlight of our stay. The room was clean, comfortable bed, a nice sofa. One small complaint is the bathroom floor is slippery when wet. Be careful. I had a few close calls... Breakfast was nice, with plenty of options in buffet and ala carte. Friendly staff, helpful. Parking is paid, but secured by locked fence door and cameras.

Boutique Hotel Élke Spa Superior offers a buffet or gluten-free breakfast. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving Catalan and Spanish cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. Very nice stay. We decided to come back after several days in another 5 star hotel nearby. Highly recommended for the families with children's. Good location, underground parking, kids room.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. The property also features a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. We just stayed for one night but had a good experience overall. The staff was really nice and helpful and the location is very relaxing.

The bright rooms at Hotel Blaumar Cadaqués feature scenic views, rustic décor and traditional Catalan floors. Some rooms have balconies and all include plasma cable TV and en-suite bathroom. This hotel is just far enough removed from town to feel quiet, but just minutes away from restaurants and bars. The pool terrace is beautiful. Breakfast was substantial with lots of choices. The staff were helpful. I would stay there again any chance I got.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The flat-screen TV has satellite channels and the private bathroom comes with amenities. Amazing hotel . Pictures make it look stuffy but in reality it is set in beautiful natural surroundings with fabulous spa and magma pool/spa is included which is an amazing facility for young and old . Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are excellent also. The quality of food and ingredients is top class . We will definitely be back if travelling through Girona

Els Jardins de la Martana can be found in the historic centre of Besalú, next to the famous Romanesque bridge. It has free Wi-Fi and mountain views.

Besalú is famous for its Romanesque architecture, and is located in the Garrotxa region. Girona is about 35 km away. Free parking can be found very nearby. Everything though the prize goes for the location! It is just right at the start of the Besalu bridge. We had a fantastic view. The place was so cosy and Christmassy! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. If you are staying in besalu (which you should stay one night at least) this is the place to book.

This family-run hotel is situated in Port Lligat Bay, just 50 metres from Salvador Dalí’s fascinating House-Museum. It offers free Wi-Fi and 2 outdoor swimming pools with sea views.

Hotel Calina’s restaurant serves traditional Catalan lunches. There is also a bar where you can get a snack or a drink. we knew very little about Cadaqués and were surprised by the location. very confortable rooms and personnel very supportive.
