We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia. Domaine de l'Ermitage is a recently renovated holiday home in Rue, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The was a little garden with a view over the marshland. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was even a crab claw cracker for the local crab we bought for dinner and an oyster knife. The apartment was also dog friendly - a pet bowl was supplied. The host was very friendly on arrival.

You are right in front of the sea without any cars passing by which makes is very peaceful and relaxing The flat is perfect for 2, has a beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, splendid lights, well equipped kitchen (only the cupboard are a bit difficult to open) and all details are very stylish. The host is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

Separate entry (self check-in, key in the door) with a small fenced sunny garden with garden furniture and BBQ, ideal outdoor space we enjoyed a lot with our dog (no extra fee). The apartment has all that you need, fridge, oven, TV, etc. The location is rural (nice wee tavern in the village ) but within 15-20min drive to main spots. We visited the Saint Valery sur Somme one evening for dinner and Le Treport the other. Overall a lovely stay and we'd highly recommend it.
