Free WiFi and parking on site is available for guests. The room was comfortable and quiet. The food was excellent. The hotel is an easy walk to magnificent trails and natural sites. The staff was exceptional, especially in helping us overcome major transportation problems ; the location is superb, but difficult to reach without a car. The staff was able to find us a driver, albeit expensive, without whom we could not have made our train connections.

The property had everything you could need for a stay! Very welcoming owners who clearly take pride and care in their property plus were very happy for us to bring along a dog which is great! We had an amazing Sunday Lunch in the Middle House... one I will be dreaming of for years to come! Also good live music in the King's Head. Not far from Hawes which has some lovely boutique shops, and can't miss going to the Wensleydale Creamery, where you can sample their cheeses before you buy! Would definitely recommend this cottage and one we would go back to stay in.

So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.
