The accommodation itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and peaceful surroundings, plus the bonus of free-roaming animals which made it feel even more magical. The home-cooked meals were delicious every time, clearly made with love and care. They were also super helpful with local recommendations and sorted out things like scooter rentals for us with no fuss. The room was airy and spacious, and the bed was massive and insanely comfortable, we slept so well. The outdoor shower was also an amazing touch. We would come back to an impeccably clean room every day too!! Thank you so, so much to beautiful Imelda and the girls — we’ll never forget this experience. Can’t wait to come back one day xx

Everything is very personal and Har shared so much interesting information with us and made unforgettable trips with us. The accommodation is really only recommended for nature lovers. But we were thrilled and will definitely be back.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Leaving Oro House felt like saying goodbye to family – I had to wait a month before I could even talk about it without getting emotional. Oro House was my home in Sumba - I had the most amazing time here. During my week-long stay, I watched sunset at their private beach every single day, and even got to see a double rainbow once! They have this gorgeous secluded beach perfect for sunbathing and swimming. To me, this is the most welcoming place in West Sumba. Siska gave me great travel tips while encouraging me to discover my own adventures. Her family and friends made me feel so cared for - I always had delicious food and ice-cold Bintang beers at the home restaurant. They've got tons of Sumba books at reception too (especially super helpful Sumba-info). I missed here already when i on my flight to Bali. Hope to return someday. So grateful to Siska and the whole family.
