Unfortunately I was sick for the entire time of my stay but I was glad it happened here. I stayed in a private room for most of the time which is clean, pretty, the shower has good pressure and is warm (important with long hair :D), there is a fan and A/C and the bed is comfortable. Since I also stayed in a dorm for one night I can also say the dorms are also clean, you have privacy and everything was great. The staff is super super nice and everyone really took good care of me: they let me stay in a dorm bed after check-out until I could check into my new room, bringing food to my room that would help me get better, checking in on me, Rana even drove me to the hospital twice and waited until I was done. Also the property has a really nice terrace where you can eat and chill. I’m really grateful for receiving that help 🙏🏼. 10/10 would recommend :)

Situated within 20 km of Bhimtal Lake in Nainital, Lakshmi Kutteer Homestay features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The hostess was very warm, kind, and welcoming. Very helpful. We were served freshly made meals and chai. Nice location. Conveniently close to the hustle and bustle but away enough to be peaceful and also with a great view of the valley and the lake.

The property is cosy with 5 very well maintained and clean tents. We took two tents and the children enjoyed their own tent and it’s very safe. The river is right outside the property and is crystal clear, we enjoyed it post the safari’s. The place is pet friendly so our dog enjoyed the river and made a pug friend, basically he had a blast. The property is quiet and relaxing. The staff were very humble and welcoming and kept us pampered with different dishes and service, it felt like going to your relatives home for a few days in a village where you get peace, clean air and are pampered. The road to the village is through a forest for 5km and we saw a deer’s while going and coming back from safari’s. The kids tried climbing trees and enjoyed the swings. It’s not an adventure outing apart from the river, things like game rooms, pool, zipline,etc. are not there and we didn’t miss them/ were rather for a safari, river and peaceful evenings with a drink and the sound of the river trip, which we got.

And the food? Absolutely loved it. Even better, it didn't feel overpriced.
