As we were out of season parking was not a problem and free, so very easy to visit all the island. Mario and his sister were extremely welcoming.

The hotel is located on the far end of the port above a lovely small swimming beach with incredible views. The staff were very approachable, relaxed and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

All located between 100 to 400 metres from the beach, they all have a fully equipped kitchenette, while the majority are equipped with a terrace, balcony or garden. Each has a TV, fridge and a bathroom with shower. So comfortable and accommodating for a family plus our dog. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and it includes one parking spot per apartment. We loved that. Salvatore and the team are the nicest people in Giglio!

The sunset is lovely to see and the entire island is overall a great experience for people who like to come to rest or to hike (or walk the dog). Probably also a great diving experience, but I'm not sure if January would be the best time of year then. For us, it was perfect because everything was closed and it really felt like we had the entire island to ourselfs. The communication with the hosts went very well. Informative, kind and flexible to meet our wishes. Would definitively recommend. Final tip: They offer a discount with the ferry. Book the destination first and the ferry later. We did it the wrong way around.
