Lovely stay at La Quercetta. There are two beautiful pools with sun loungers all round. The place was beautiful and peaceful - we didn’t leave the complex for 3 days. They had a great selection for breakfast - eggs and bacon, pancakes, croissants, hams, cheeses, cereals, tea, coffee and juices. The dinners were also delicious and you were seated in a beautiful glass enclosure looking over the town of Foligno. Also the rooms look to have been renovated, as they look better than the pictures online.

Free on-site parking is provided. Umbertide Train Station is 11 km from the property. Gubbio town centre is reachable by car in 25 minutes. Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport is located 33 km away. Where could I start, we happened to book Nikis by chance as it had a great view and a pool. We really lucked out! The team were super accommodating, arranging anything we needed. The food was exceptional and the view was spectacular! Comfy beds, great wine, great people and dog friendly too! We were so impressed with the whole experience we have now decided to hold our wedding at Nikis next year!

The breakfast is also great, and we had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant. Service from the staff is also excellent. Definitely would recommend this hotel and must try Orvieto wine, it is very good!

Excellent location outside the centre of Assisi. Very nice and comfortable, large garden to sit when weather permits A WONDERFUL view of the valley from most or all rooms (we had 6 rooms, all with a wonderful view)

Set within a renovated medieval building in the heart of Orvieto, Palazzo Piccolomini is a 4-star hotel a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral. Rooms successfully mix classical design with modern comforts. I loved this hotel. It was beautifully appointed and so central with wonderful staff!

Set in Orvieto, the recently renovated Orvieto Residence features accommodation 1.7 km from Duomo Orvieto and 18 km from Civita di Bagnoregio. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We stayed just for one night but we can imagine to stay longer. The apartment was modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. We appreciate we could check in at night hours. It is a good location for visiting historical centre of Orvieto. The breakfast was arranged in the nearby café.

I liked everything, beautiful location in the middle of the Umbria countryside. Well maintained holiday farm, comfortable and clean room, beautiful pool with view of the valley. Excellent breakfast and service, Nicola super nice and friendly manager who gave us helpful advices. Well located, only half hour to Perugia, 40 minutes to Assisi which is very worth visiting. Marsciano, only 10 minutes driving also offers excellent restaurants. I highly recommend this place and I would love to go back there again.

Affittacamere La Mattonata is offering accommodation in Città di Castello. It is located 41 km from Piazza Grande and provides a lift. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Check in was very easy. The shower was excellent—we’re hiking the Via di Francesco. Lovely stay.
