The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

Absolutely amazing property. Very clean , quite spacious . Kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils to prepare dishes.Resort staff was very helpful Best part just 5 min walk from station . View is mesmerising from all the rooms. Just perfect .

The accommodation features a hot spring bath, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. The atmosphere of this Ryoken was amazing. The staff, food, and private bath were 10/10. My wife and I are vegetarians, so food was abit difficult to coordinate. At the end, we only had breakfast(vegetarian) and had to skip dinner. In spit of that though we will most definitely visit again.
