He showed us some cool hidden spots by the beach and even did some small sparklers with us. Even though there was a language barrier we both used translation apps and I felt like we really got to know each other that way. It’s not the most “normal” stay and those looking for more of a hotel experience might not like it, but for those looking to have an adventure in Japan and to meet new people this place was perfect.

What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!
