He picked us up in the city, when we arrived and droped us off when we took the train to Ella. He also organised us train tickets and made our laundry. And the Breakfast was amazing! This recently renovated country house is located 1.9 km from Bogambara Stadium and 2.3 km from Kandy railway station. The accommodation features free shuttle service, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. The host and his family were very accommodating and welcoming. They were all lovely to be around, the gentleman gave us some good recommendations and helped with transport .. The stay felt like home. Clean and comfortable, the wifi was really good and we had a really delicious breakfast. It was about a 30 minute walk into the city down hill, 5 minute Tuktuk back up for 200-350 SLR (uber or pick me). The bathroom needs a little love but it was a very good value for money and we both really enjoyed staying with the family. I would book again.

Even though, I stayed for one night, he gave me a detailed map of Kandy, places I can explore within a day. My stay was amazing and I had a great time in kandy, will visit this stay again.

It might be tricky to find it but the view from the window is worth it.
