Having said that, on some days we decided to walk ourselves to the surfbeach, wich was an enjoyable walk of 40 min. - Room: The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast prepared by Kalima every day was very good. - Overall: Off all the different places we've been in Dakhla, this was the best, with a way more local and intimate feel than all the big hotels. In the big hotels we were charged for a second cup of coffee in the morning (despite the full pension!), whereas at Surficscamp, Farrid offers tea to anyone during the day. Also, he was kind enough to give us a free ride to the airport. More importantly his smile and good energy is so contagious that you very soon feel like being with family or friends, instaed of being a customer. If you go to Dakhla, this place shoud defenitely be on your list, as it is a real authentic gem, providing an experience/ambiance that you won't be able to find somewhere else!
