The villa has a picnic area and a hot tub. This property was stunning. We used it as a base for snowboarding Ohau and treble cone. The fireplace & hot tub were a massive hit for us after the hill. Star gazing was also impeccable from the back yard! We also checked out the lake nearby (recommended from the host in their welcome book) and had a quick cold water plunge. Whole experience was excellent. Comfy beds. We will be back.

Sweet little tiny home. Easy drive from Lake Tekapo. Recommend if you want a comfy, peaceful spot away from the crowds.

The Tiny Away model is great. The cabin was still quite new. The farm and valley location was lovely. Farm sheep were adjacent and and their calls provided a great soundscape, as did the wild birds. The valley location was 10k from Burkes Pass on a track. In the other direction was Mackenzie Pass with a memorial stone at the spot where James MacKenzie was arrested & escaped!

Owners are so kind and thoughtful. Top notch and so different. The scenery is beautiful!

Tania, the owner of the place was there to welcome when we arrived. Would stronly recommend Arches Cottage to anyone who need to stay in Twizel before heading to either MT Cook or Queenstown. The town centre is 5 mins drive & have 2 well stock supermarkets.
