Bikes also available to hire. Rebecca was a great host & always available to help with any questions. The owner, Sterling, was a top bloke who kindly dropped us back at the airport! It’s about a 20 min walk to town or you can jump in a taxi for $1 each. (During the day walk along the beach to cut the corner off & avoid the traffic on the main road)

We have our own dogs and cats on the property Beautiful large nestled in the jungle. Amazing rooms , beautiful colours. Felt like you were living in a treehouse high up in the jungle. Matthau’s an amazing host super friendly and knowledgeable. The wildlife around the property is incredible and the private beach, snorkelling and activities are 2nd to none. I would 100% return if visiting Bocas again.

This recently renovated apartment features a building dating back to 2019, which is a few steps from the Carenero Beach. All rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. Everything about our stay here was exceptional. We were within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It was easy to catch a water taxi to go to the main island. Our room was very comfortable and was well equipped. Karen was great to communicate with and responded quickly to any requests. She also made good recommendations for places to eat and water taxis to use. It was a perfect 4 night stay for us!

Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

Six private glamping cabins sit over the water, just meters from a vibrant coral reef for easy snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, and exploring our private shipwreck. We loved the food and the immediate access to excellent snorkeling. The other guests are friendly. When you are in your house, it still feels like you are enjoying nature. It was an amazing place to spend 6 days!!
