The location was very peaceful, completely quiet at night other than the sounds of nature. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was friendly, both the staff and other guests. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They answered our questions and provided things we needed. It's a safe enclosed community, our children were able to play around the gardens without us worrying with their whereabouts. There's two sets of swings and a small trampoline. The pool was a highlight, it's great that there are toilets and showers by the pool to avoid having to go back in the accommodation whilst spending time in the pool. The sun loungers and parasols are also perfectly placed. We loved the 'home away from home' comfort, including TVs and AC to keep us all comfortable. It was nice to sleep under a soft duvet instead of being uncovered because it's too hot to sleep. Feeding the donkey and the pony was also a highlight. The reservoir beach is 9 minutes away, easy drive, totally worth popping down if staying for two or three nights. We did it on our way back home. We stayed two nights, and didn't go anywhere in the car that time. It was nice to just stay put and relax. Thank you so much! We loved it.

The house is not large, but spacious enough, cozy, clean and well equipped. We spent three nights there, went sightseeing in Serra da Estrela, the house is conveniently located relative to the main attractions of the region. We had two dogs travelling with us, and there was everything for people with dogs to get conveniently settled. Good value for money, happy to recommend.
