Very nice room in this brand new hotel, loaded with pleasent details, the staff is so kind and all the servcies are good. Breakfast was rich and complete for all tastes. Position right in the new city center.

Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge and stovetop. Every unit has a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while certain rooms include a terrace and some have mountain views. At the apartment complex, the units include bed linen and towels. Very clean and functional, good views to the mountains, nice staff (thank you Andreas). We enjoyed our stay.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. We stayed in the igloo bungalow overlooking the lake, and had one of the most magical experiences ever <3 can only recommend!

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. Firstly - if you can't live without Wifi, then you'd be best just to stay at home - this is not what Reindeer Lodge is about. If you're after 5 star accommodation, then find somewhere else because staff are not here to be at your personal beck and call. Staff at Reindeer Lodge are amazing - we always felt welcome and part of the family. Our room, although small, was very cosy and clean. To keep the park an authentic experience, there are 2 communal (very clean) toilets, as well as a communal shower and wood fired sauna. When leaving, you are asked to strip your beds fold your bedding and put your bedding and pillows on the lounge to make room turnover quicker for staff. As well as looking after the rooms, staff are also responsible for looking after the reindeer, preparing meals for guests and working at the Saami / Reindeer village at Jukkasjarvi. Staff work long hours and very hard. Breakfast was a really nice Scandinavian style Smorgas, it was great to be able to go in and feed and interact with the reindeer - let them come to you... You can also borrow some cross country skis or snow shoes to go for a walk on the lake. Reindeer Lodge is about a 5-10 minute drive from Jukkasjarvi and a good alternative to the Icehotel. We recommend staying at Reindeer Lodge.

Set in Riksgränsen, 43 km from Ofoten Museum, Niehku Mountain Villa offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. From the moment we arrived at Niehku Mountain Villa, I was captivated by its unique design and welcoming ambiance. Nestled in the spectacular Riksgränsen, the villa offers breathtaking mountain views that make the winter morning special. The architecture, inspired by local heritage, blends seamlessly with the environment, creating a luxurious yet cozy experience. The staff at Niehku were not just friendly but genuinely attentive, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms, though not large, were elegantly designed, providing all the comforts one could ask for after a day in the mountains. The sauna, with its panoramic views, was a highlight, offering a serene way to unwind. Dining at Niehku was a culinary delight; the menu focused on local ingredients, with dishes that were both hearty and sophisticated. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meals. Simply relaxing by the fireplace after a day in the mountain was such a nice experience. What stood out was the personal touch in every aspect, from the bespoke adventures to the warm, home-like atmosphere of the villa.

Boasting a sauna, Lovely house in Abisko is situated in Abisko. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking country house features a sauna. The home was perfect for our stay. The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The laundry and drying room was great. And the SAUNA was the best!

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. The visit to the cold rooms are a must.
